Alex Stockdale


Alex is an associate at Ruprecht, Hart, Ricciardulli & Sherman. His practice focuses on civil litigation, including medical malpractice, personal injury, and auto defense.

A Pennsylvania native, Alex attended Gettysburg College, where he studied biology and nineteenth century political and military history. While attending Suffolk University Law School in Boston on a Sargent Scholarship, Alex concentrated on health and biomedical law and represented capacity petitioners in guardianship and social security matters as a pro bono student attorney with Suffolk's nationally-ranked clinical program. Alex currently sits on the Suffolk University Alumni Board as an advisor and student mentor.

Since joining the firm in 2014, Alex has represented various hospitals, medical professionals, utility companies, insurance companies, and public entities in a variety of litigated matters. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the District Courts for the District of New Jersey and Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Alex resides in New Jersey with his wife and son. He is passionate about outdoor activities, such as fly fishing, hunting, and hiking. Additionally, Alex is a member of several outdoor recreational conservation groups that focus on improving habitats for animals and increasing access to public lands.
