Steven Olivo

Steven F. Olivo is an Associate Attorney at Ruprecht, Hart, Ricciardulli & Sherman, concentrating in the defense of public entities including railroads, state agencies, and municipalities. He comes to us after a distinguished 20-year career with the City of Newark Department of Law doing defense work as well as four years of labor and personnel relations law. Prior to that he worked for a private defense firm for five years and a plaintiff’s firm for three, ensuring he saw both sides of the legal equation. Mr. Olivo has tried 6 jury and over 50 administrative trials and argued countless motions and appeals in State and Federal Court.
